OSCE special representative Biaudet in Finland to discuss grass root action in combating human trafficking

The OSCE Special Representative and Co-ordinator for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings, Eva Biaudet will visit Finland on 18 and 19 February. 

She will be a key note speaker at the seminar "What is the price of a human being?", organized by the Finnish Ecumenical Council and the Estonian Council of Churches. The seminar will focus on grass root action against trafficking in human beings and the possible role of churches in this work. During her visit, Biaudet will also have an opportunity to meet  with Finnish researchers to discuss the role of academic research in combating human trafficking.

Fighting human trafficking is one of the priorities of the 2008 Finnish OSCE Chairmanship.

Eva Biaudet has served as the OSCE Special Representative and Co-ordinator for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings since October 2006.
