Minister Berner: Nordic countries should commit to common solutions

On Tuesday 29 January, Finland’s Minister for Nordic Cooperation Anne Berner had a meeting with Ann Linde, Sweden's Minister for Nordic affairs.

The Ministers discussed the opportunities for Nordic cooperation at present, digitalisation, mobility and cross-border barriers, and the development of the Nordic Council of Ministers.

"The Nordic countries benefit from the Nordic integration process, and the pursuit of common solutions is desirable," Minister Anne Berner says.  "The Nordic countries should commit to the implementation of common solutions."

Ann Linde, who continues as Minister for Foreign Trade in Sweden's new Government, is also responsible for Nordic affairs.
