Operations of the Finnish Embassy in Tokyo have been transferred to Hiroshima

Operations of the Embassy of Finland in Tokyo were transferred on 18 March to a temporary office in Hiroshima that has been made available by the Honorary Consul of Denmark. The embassy will open on Tuesday, 22 March, after the local holiday.

The Embassy in Hiroshima provides consular services and in a limited manner visa services. Resident permit applications can not be handled at the moment.

The embassy has been transferred to a new location in order to ensure both the embassy’s operating capacity under all circumstances as well as its possibilities to serve Finns in Japan.
