What are the common values of the new generation of Finnish architects with Studio Aalto? We discover it together with the studios AOA, VERSTAS and JKMM Architects. The Finnish architects Selina Anttinen, Jussi Palva and Asmo Jaaksi will illustrate, exclusively and as a preview for Italy, a selection of some new projects bult in Finland significant for their sustainable and human-scale approach. The aim is to present the importance that the theme of environmental sustainability, respect for human beings, technological innovation, architectural recovery and urban regeneration play in their projects.

The meeting with the architects Selina Anttinen, Jussi Palva and Asmo Jaaksi is the second of a cycle of two meetings entitled “Finnish Architecture and Design. The new generation of Finnish Architects and Designers and common values with Studio Aalto" scheduled at MAXXI (until 26 May 2024).on the occasion of the exhibition AALTO: Aino Alvar Elissa. The Human Dimension of Design.

The event, promoted by MAXXI National Museum of 21st Century Arts and curated by Arianna Callocchia, is organised in collaboration with Embassy of Finland in ItalyATL – The Association of Finnish Architects’ Offices, Ordine degli Architetti P.P.C. di Roma e provincia (Rome Chamber of Architects) and IED Roma – Istituto Europeo di Design.
