Celebrating 70 Years of Finnish-Israeli Diplomatic Relations: calling singers to join a Virtual Choir!
This year marks the 70th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Finland and Israel. To celebrate this special occasion, we are calling singers to join a Virtual Choir to perform together the Finnish and Israeli national anthems.
Maamme
Maamme – national anthem of Finland is made in cooperation with a Finnish virtual choir Virtuaalikuoro(Link to another website.) (Opens New Window). If you are interested to join to sing Maamme, please use the below form(Link to another website.) (Opens New Window) to sign up. Please indicate which chorus you would like sing (soprano, alto, tenor and bass).
The deadline to register is Sunday 15 November at 5pm. Recordings need to be submitted on Sunday 22 November by 8pm. We recommend that all singers signing up to the project would respect this schedule and practice their parts with the material provided.
The maximum number of participants is 200. The participants will be notified by email and they will receive the material and the instructions for the recording and submission.
The virtual choir performances will be available at the Embassy website and in our social media in December. You are warmly welcome to join the Virtual Choir!

Hatikva
If you are interested to join to sing Hatikva, the national anthem of the State of Israel, please use the below form(Link to another website.) (Opens New Window) to sign up and also indicate which voice you would like to sing.
