Postal voting 2019
A possibility to vote by post will be introduced in the parliamentary elections of spring 2019. This means that eligible voters who reside abroad permanently (expatriate Finns) and eligible voters who reside in Finland but are abroad at the time of the elections may vote by post. Advance voting will be arranged at Finnish diplomatic and consular missions abroad in the same manner as before.

Reminder from the Embassy to apply for a new passport in time
All those who hold a Finnish passport and are planning to travel should check the expiry date of the passport. When you apply for a passport to a minor, you must bring your child to the embassy with you. The delivery time of a normal passport is approximately two weeks, the passport is delivered from Finland (price 140 euro) and for a passport as express service the delivery time is about 8 working days (price 160 euro).
