Foreign Minister Tuomioja spoke about Finland’s EU experiences in Croatia
“The enlargement policy is one of the best policy programmes of the EU, because it enhances stability, security and welfare in Europe. Finland has also gained major benefits from its membership. Finland has always underscored compliance with common rules and conditions,” said Foreign Minister Erkki Tuomioja, who visited Croatia on 19 October, in his speech to an audience at the Zagreb University. Croatia is on its way to becoming the 28th Member State of the EU probably in July 2013.
