Foreign Minister Tuomioja to Croatia and Serbia

Foreign Minister Erkki Tuomioja will visit Croatia on 19 October and Serbia on 20 October.

In Croatia, Tuomioja will meet President Ivo Josipovic and Foreign Minister Gordan Jandrokovic. The topics of discussion will include Croatia’s forthcoming EU membership in 2013 and the situation of the Western Balkans. Tuomioja will give a speech titled ‘An internationally active, European Finland’ at the Zagreb University.

In Serbia, Tuomioja will meet Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic and Deputy Prime Minister Bozidar Djelic. The topics of discussion will be Serbia’s closer EU association, the situation of the Western Balkans, and the Kosovo question. In Belgrade, in addition to official stakeholders, Tuomioja will also meet representatives of the civil society.
