Finnish-Croatian dictionary published

The very first Finnish-Croatian-Finnish dictionary ever is published by WSOY, the leading publishing house in Finland. The author of the dictionary is Rada Boriæ, a professor of Croatian language at the University of Helsinki.


There are approximately 39000 entries in the dictionary. The recent structural and vocabulary changes in the language are emphasized. In addition to the Croatian alphabet, numerals, grammar and the most common irregular verbs, the dictionary offers also some basic information on Croatia and useful vocabulary related to dining.
