The Consulate General of Finland in Hong Kong will start the limited reception of residence permit applications for special groups
The Consulate General of Finland in Hong Kong will start the limited reception and processing of residence permit applications for the following customer groups:
- Applicants of residence permit for an employed person and other residence permits on the basis of work. Applications for working in Finland(Link to another website.).
ATTENTION: In accordance with the Finnish government's decision the seasonal work matters and permits are dealt with separately as a separate entity and are not included here.
- Applications based on family ties. Applications moving to Finland to be with a family member(Link to another website.).
ATTENTION: Student residence permit applications will not be accepted for the time being, except for those students whose educational institutions are known to give contact teaching at the campus already in the autumn semester of 2020. The decision of resuming all the normal residence permit services will be done separately. The matter is currently being investigated and the future policy will be influenced by the decisions made by the educational institutions on how teaching will be organized in the autumn of 2020.
