According to the Corruption Perceptions Index 2012 conducted by Transparency International, Finland together with Denmark and New Zealand rank number one in the list as the least corrupted countries in the world.

As we celebrate Finland’s 95th Independence Day, we take great pride in the stability and wellbeing of our native land. Our prosperity depends on developments in our neighbouring areas, but also further afield.

The theme for the Reception is ‘Finnish actions and work’. Following this theme, the guest list includes people whose actions and work have contributed to the wellbeing of Finland and Finns.
