Elections for the European Parliament, which are held on May 25, 2014, have attracted top-rate candidates to run in Finland. The polls are all the more interesting because Prime Minister Jyrki Katainen has announced his intention to resign, writes Kyösti Karvonen, managing editor of the newspaper Kaleva.
