Artwork donated to the Embassy of Finland in Athens

The architect and painter Dimos Flessas donated to the Embassy of Finland four lithographies illustrating different sports of the Olympic Games.

The donation took place in a modest gathering in the offices of the Finnish Embassy on Tuesday 21 June 2005, the ambassador Ole Norrback being present with the staff of the Embassy.

Dimos Flessas (born in 1945) studied Architecture in Rome. Since 1973 he has his own practice as an architect in Greece. Flessas has exhibited his works in solo show exhibitions in Greece and Finland. He has also participated in group exhibitions.

Flessas is married with the Finnish Pirkko Flessas and they have three sons. He lives and works in Kifissia Athens.
