Foreign Minister Stubb to go to Georgia

Foreign Minister Alexander Stubb will visit Georgia on 7–8 September. His agenda includes meetings with President Saakashvili, Prime Minister Gilauri, Foreign Minister Vashadze and Reintegration Minister Iakobashvili. Foreign Minister Stubb will deliver a speech at the Conference of Heads of Mission of Georgia’s Foreign Ministry. Aside from the official programme, he will visit a refugee centre and meet Finnish EU observers.
The main topics of the meetings are bilateral relations between Finland and Georgia, Georgia’s rapprochement with the EU and the internal situation in Georgia.
