Foreign Minister Tkeshelashvili of Georgia to meet with Foreign Minister Stubb

Foreign Minister Ekaterine Tkeshelashvili of Georgia will visit Finland on Friday, 30 May.

In Finland, Foreign Minister Tkeshelashvili will meet with Foreign Minister Alexander Stubb, Chairman-in-Office of the OSCE. The talks will concentrate on topical OSCE issues, including the Parliamentary elections held in Georgia on 21 May and efforts to solve the conflict of South Ossetia. EU affairs and other international issues, such as relations between Georgia and Russia, will also be discussed during the meeting.

In addition, Tkeshelashvili will meet with Ilkka Kanerva, Chairman of the Finnish delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Kimmo Kiljunen, the OSCE Task Force Special Envoy for Election-related Issues, and Heidi Hautala, Chair of the Southern Caucasus Friendship Group in the Parliament of Finland.

The visit will end on Saturday, 31 May, with a meeting between Foreign Minister Tkeshelashvili and Minister of Migration and European Affairs Astrid Thors.
