Finland - the World's Fourth Most Innovative Country


Finland was ranked 4th in the annual ranking of innovation capabilities covering 143 countries, improving its position from last year's 6th place. Global Innovation Index is done jointly by Cornell University, INSEAD Business School and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). The survey uses 81 indicators across the range of themes. This year the survey focused on Human Factor in Innovation thus reflecting factors such as education and societal stability.  The top 3 ahead of Finland in this year's Global Innovation Index were Switzerland, United Kingdom and Sweden.
