Finland active in the Global Health Security Agenda

Ambassador Päivi Kairamo described in Geneva on Thursday 4th December Finland’s goals as Chair of the Steering Group of the Global Health Security Agenda. Finland will chair the steering group during the year 2015. The initiative was launched by the US in February 2014. The Global Health Security Agenda (GHSA) is the collective effort of over forty nations to strengthen international capacity to prevent, detect, and respond to infectious disease outbreaks, such as Ebola, irrespective of their cause.
