Invitation: Event for Finnish citizens: EU citizens’ status and rights after Brexit
The Embassy of Finland is organizing an event on the implications of the UK’s departure from the EU on the status and rights of Finnish citizens living in the UK. The event will take place on Wed 10 October at 6–7.30pm at the Finnish Ambassador’s residence. Please note that the seats are limited, and registration is required.

Emilie Gardberg has started her four-year term as the director of the Finnish Institute in London. Gardberg has a wide experience in leadership at the cultural sector. She is especially interested in social impact of the arts. At her previous jobs she explored arts from the perspective of equality, environment and peace work.

UK construction sector ready for BIM from Finland – Join us in London
The Building Information Modelling (BIM) sector in the United Kingdom is one of the most developed in the world. In 2011 the country had a strategy for BIM according to which in 2016 BIM became obligatory in public projects until 2025. The aim is to move to level three BIM, which is deeply embedded in the wider digital economy. This will require further development of technologies and commercial models.
