Portable passport unit in Edinburgh on 14th and 15th February
Embassy of Finland will temporarily have a portable passport device in the UK. The Embassy will process passport and ID card applications in Edinburgh on Friday 14 February and Saturday 15 February 2020. Appointments for both days have now been fully booked.

Brexit event for Finnish businesses in the UK on Wednesday 16th October
The Embassy of Finland is organizing an event for Finnish businesses in the UK on how they can prepare for the UK’s departure from the European Union. The event will take place on Wednesday 16th October from 11am to 12am at the Embassy of Finland in London (address: 38 Chesham Place, London SW1X 8HW), and is organized in co-operation with Business Finland and Finnish-British Chamber of Commerce.

Introducing Camilla Carlbom Flinn, Honorary Consul of Finland in Immingham, Grimsby and Hull
Ninth in our article series, introducing the Honorary Consuls of Finland in The United Kingdom is Camilla Carlbom Flinn. Mrs Carlbom Flinn appointed as an Honorary Consul for Grimsby & Immingham in 2008 and in 2015 Hull was added to the district in 2015.

Jacksons Lane will be “Made in Finland” in October and November
Finnish performative art takes over Jacksons Lane as Made in Finland – a mini-season full of Finnish contemporary art and performances – starts on the 8th October. The last performances will be seen on 21st November. Made in Finland is supported by the Finnish Institute in London.
