Webinars on changes in trade between the EU and the UK

Do you need more information about the new requirements in trade between the EU and the UK?

Many things have changed since 1 January 2021, when the UK exited the EU single market and the Customs Union. The EU–UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement (TCA), reached on 24 December 2020, did not replace the single market. Instead, a significant number of new formalities were introduced for the export and import of goods and services and for the entry of business visitors.

A series of webinars on the new trade formalities, organised by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs together with stakeholders in central government and the British Embassy in Finland, will be held in May.

The webinars will provide an overview of the changes and new requirements. They are intended especially for companies that are engaged in or planning to start export from or import to the UK.

The event will be held on every Tuesday in May starting at 9.00 o’clock. Save the date now!

We will update the programme of the webinars and the links to each seminar on this website a few days before the event. The events will be recorded and made available for viewing afterwards.

If you have ideas for themes of discussion in the webinars, please send your suggestions in advance using this form(Link to another website.) (Opens New Window) (the form is in finnish). You can also use the same form to send us feedback.
