Important information on postal voting in the 2024 Presidential Election
Expatriate Finns, i.e. those have the right to vote in Finland and live permanently abroad, are entitled to vote in the Parliamentary and Presidential Election. Expatriate Finns can also vote in the Elections for the European Parliament unless they are registered on the electoral roll of their country of residence.
Persons living or staying abroad during the entire advance voting period and on election day may vote by post from abroad in Presidential Elections. Regarding the Presidential Election 2024, the postal voting documents can be ordered from 28 October 2023 onwards.
