Invitation: Event for Finnish businesses in the UK – How can your business prepare for Brexit?

The Embassy of Finland is organizing an event for Finnish businesses in the UK on how they can prepare for the UK’s departure from the European Union. The event will take place on Wednesday 21 November from 9am to 10.30am at the Finnish Ambassador’s residence (address: 14 Kensington Palace Gardens, London W8 4QP), and is organized in co-operation with Business Finland and Finnish-British Chamber of Commerce.

This will be an opportunity to hear how Finnish businesses should prepare for Brexit and meet our experts from the Ministry for Foreign Affairs. You will also have an opportunity to raise questions or concerns.

Preparing for Brexit is a joint task that has to be performed by the authorities and also by the other stakeholders involved. It requires steps to be taken by EU institutions, national and regional authorities, businesses and citizens. Preparedness measures cannot prevent the changes resulting from the UK’s withdrawal, but they can be used to help mitigate the impact. Please see also see the website of the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs for more information: Preparedness for the United Kingdom’s exit from the European Union(Link to another website.).

Please register your interest to attend the event by 16th November via this link(Link to another website.) (Opens New Window). We will be sending final confirmations after the registration has closed.

Please note that the seats are limited. If you have signed up and can no longer attend the event, please cancel your registration as soon as possible.
