Embassy of Finland in London looking for a driver
The Embassy of Finland in London is looking for a driver. The contract will comply with UK employment legislation and is for an indefinite period of time starting as agreed. Please apply by 10th December 2021.
The first four months of the contract will be a probationary period.
Duties will include:
- driver to the Ambassador
- other transportation duties of the Embassy
- car cleaning, servicing and maintenance duties
- assisting in practical events organized at the Embassy
- other duties assigned by the Ambassador.
Working hours are negotiable. The position may also involve working in the evenings and weekends.
Requirements:
- a current driver's license and a clean driving record
- fluency in written and spoken English
- previous experience in similar position
- familiarity with London and its surrounding areas
- good organization and planning skills, responsibility and capability to work independently
- service oriented, polite with good communication and social skills.
A candidate for the position will be subjected to a security clearance with the consent of the applicant (Finland’s Act on Security Assessments 726/2014).
