Brexit event for Finnish businesses in the UK on Wednesday 16th October

The Embassy of Finland is organizing an event for Finnish businesses in the UK on how they can prepare for the UK’s departure from the European Union. The event will take place on Wednesday 16th October from 11am to 12am at the Embassy of Finland in London (address: 38 Chesham Place, London SW1X 8HW), and is organized in co-operation with Business Finland and Finnish-British Chamber of Commerce.

This will be an opportunity to hear from our experts at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Finnish Customs, how Finnish businesses should prepare for Brexit. You will also have an opportunity to raise questions or concerns. The event will be in English.

Preparing for Brexit is a joint task that has to be performed by the authorities and other stakeholders involved. It requires steps that need to be taken by EU institutions, national and regional authorities, businesses as well as citizens. In Finland, each Ministry is responsible for the aspects of Brexit that affect its administrative branch.
