The Government of Åland and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland are organising a seminar “90 Years of Autonomy: The Åland Example as a Tool for Resolving Conflicts” in Brussels on 2 October. The seminar examines how the Åland Example can be used as a model in mediation and conflict situations.

President of the Republic Sauli Niinistö delivered a foreign policy address to the heads of Finland’s diplomatic missions abroad who were in Helsinki for the annual Ambassador Seminar in late August.
