Weighing Baltic Sea progress

The Baltic Sea is vulnerable to pollution loads from its wide catchment area.

The bad news: The Baltic Sea is not doing well. The good news: Now action is being taken to save it.

The Baltic Sea Action Summit on February 10, 2010 in Helsinki brought together representatives of governments, businesses and civil society concerned for the body of water. Event participants made commitments to take action to help the Baltic Sea.
