Estonian Foreign Minister Urmas Paet to visit Finland

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia Urmas Paet will visit Finland on Friday 30 March at the invitation of Foreign Minister Erkki Tuomioja. He will also meet President of the Republic Sauli Niinistö and Minister for European Affairs and Foreign Trade Alexander Stubb.

The topics of discussion with Foreign Minister Tuomioja will include, for instance, the bilateral relations between the countries, Nordic-Baltic cooperation, EU’s Eastern Partnership, and the international Arms Trade Treaty. With President Niinistö Foreign Minister Paet will discuss the bilateral relations between our countries and global security issues. The issues on the agenda in the meeting with Minister for European Affairs and Foreign Trade Stubb will include topical EU affairs, the EU financial framework (the Union budget) for 2014–2020 in particular.
