Foreign Minister Tuomioja to attend the meeting of the Nordic and Baltic foreign ministers

Foreign Minister Erkki Tuomioja will participate in the meeting of the NB8 foreign ministers, hosted by Sweden, with other Nordic and Baltic foreign ministers in Visby on 2-3 September.

This time, the topics on the agenda of the annually held meeting of foreign ministers include Syria and the situation in the Middle East in general, EU’s Eastern Partnership and transatlantic relations. Finland will also report on the NB8 nuclear emergency exercise, arranged in connection with the Loviisa13 emergency preparedness exercise in March 2013.
