Foreign Minister Alexander Stubb to Estonia

Foreign Minister Alexander Stubb will visit Estonia on Monday, 21 June. His host will be Foreign Minister Urmas Paet. In addition to the meeting with Foreign Minister Paet, Stubb will meet in Tallinn with President Toomas Hendrik Ilves.

Alongside bilateral relations between Finland and Estonia, the subjects of the talks will be Nordic–Baltic cooperation, the Baltic Sea and energy issues, among others. Topical EU affairs include, in particular, Estonia’s joining of the Euro zone, implementation of the Lisbon Treaty, EU enlargement and the EU’s Eastern Partnership. Also on the agenda are international security questions, such as Afghanistan, the Middle East and Iran.
