The Info Point on Finnish Working Life has moved to a new location

The new address for The Info Point on Finnish Working Life is Liivalaia 11/4. The new facilities were taken into use from the 1st of August.

The Finnish labour market system and labour legislation are different in several respects from those in Estonia. The more jobseekers know about the conditions of working in Finland, the better they will be able to adapt to the Finnish labour market.

Through the Info Point Estonians planning to go to work in Finland receive advice on the principal rules of the Finnish labour market, as well as on the rights and obligations of employees and on trade union activity. The central aim of the project is to increase the functionality of the labour market between Finland and Estonia.

The office started its operation in Tallinn in 2002 and will keep on going at least until the end of year 2008. Earlier the office was located on Suurtüki street, but now the facilities can be found at Liivalaia street.

It is possible to get information at the Info Point also in Russian and Estonian. The duties of the Info Point do not include working as an employment agency.
