Foreign Trade Minister Sasi to Monaco


Minister for Foreign Trade Kimmo Sasi will pay an official visit to the Duchy of Monaco on June 29-30. The initiative for the visit was taken by Monaco-Finland Society (founded in 1993).

The purpose of the visit is to develop commercial and economic, as well as diplomatic relations between Finland and Monaco. During the visit Minister Sasi will discuss with Crown Prince Albert of Monaco and meet the Minister for Economy and Finances Franck Biancher, the director of Chambre du Développement Économique Michel Pastor and other Monacan representatives.

Minister Sasi will visit several Monacan businesses ( e.g. Monaco Telecom, Digital Illusion, Tafiparc, Centre de Régulation du Trafic), as well as the new Grimaldi Forum congress and conference center and
Technopôle – World Trade Center. He will also have a look at the Nautor Swan yachts.

Minister Sasi will be followed by a 20-member business delegation. Among others, companies like Nokia, Marimekko, Nautor Swan, Alfatex, Twin Systems Ltd, Spokesman, Profium, Mirasys Communications Ltd, Stonesoft and the Espoo Chamber of Commerce are represented in the delegation.
