Finland will send a forensic team to Kosovo

Finland will send a 12-member forensic team to assist the investigations of the UN International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in Kosovo. The team consists of pathologists and crime scene investigators. They will be stationed in the town of Orahovac in the western Kosovo.

The approximately four-week assignment of the Finnish team will commence on 14 August. The leader of the team is Matti Orasmaa, scene of crime officer at the National Bureau of Investigation.
