Helena Tuuri appointed Finland's Baltic Sea Ambassador

Counsellor for Foreign Affairs Helena Tuuri has been appointed Finland's new Baltic Sea Ambassador. The Baltic Sea Ambassador's duties include maintenance of broad contacts and networking with diverse stakeholders

Counsellor for Foreign Affairs Helena Tuuri has been appointed Finland's new Baltic Sea Ambassador from 1 September 2018. Tuuri is based in the Unit for Northern Europe of the Department for Europe at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs.

She transferred to the Ministry from Prague where she was Finland's Ambassador to Czech Republic since 2014. Tuuri has also worked as Director of the Unit for the Middle East and North Africa, and as State Under-Secretary for EU Affairs in the Prime Minister's Office.

The Baltic Sea Ambassador's duties include maintenance of broad contacts and networking with diverse stakeholders.
