Finland´s new embassy building in Canberra to be inaugurated
Finland´s new embassy building in Canberra will be inaugurated in the presence of Foreign Minister Erkki Tuomioja on February 1.The building has been designed by architect Vesa Huttunen and it has gained much attention in the Australian media and among architecture and design circles even before the official inauguration. It joins the chain of architecturally interesting Finnish embassies around the world, like the embassies in Washington, Berlin, Stockholm and New Delhi.
The building is located in the Yarralumla diplomatic district in Canberra.
