Live-Stream: Virtual Opening Party „15 WONDERS – Die Mode-Revolution aus Finnland“ now available

Will the next fashion revolution break out in Finland? The new exhibition by the Embassy of Finland in Berlin opened virtually this year, and everyone was invited to the party! In our live-stream from July 1 we dive into the world of Finnish top fashion design and sustainability. You get to explore the exhibition together with experts and meet the award-winning young fashion designers from Aalto University. Rising star Elise-Juliette from “Voice of Finland” gives the audience an exclusive live-performance.

Sustainable development is currently shaking up the international fashion world. Finland is a forerunner in future material solutions. New innovations can be used to replace resource-intensive materials and make it possible to produce textile fibres from agricultural waste, wood or textile waste without harmful chemicals and with low water usage.

Thanks to Aalto University’s fashion design programme and award-winning young Finnish designers, Finland has become internationally recognised in the area of fashion design.

15 Wonders shows works by Aalto fashion students and new Finnish material solutions. The spatial design is entirely created using upcycled textiles and surplus materials.
