The Embassy of Finland in Prague is looking for an Administrative and Communication Assistant to join our team!

Are you interested in diplomacy and international relations? Would you like to see how the day-to-day running of an Embassy looks like? The Embassy of Finland in Prague is looking for an enthusiastic and capable Administrative and Communication Assistant to join our professional team.

Languages required: fluent English, Czech

Assistant’s tasks include:

  • Public Diplomacy, managing and creating content to the Embassy’s webpage and social media
  • Contributing to Embassy administration tasks, arrangements of the visits
  • Information gathering from open sources
  • Other tasks assigned by the Head of Mission

This position is a locally employed one and the terms of employment follow Czech employment law. The position is full-time with 36,25 weekly working hours. Starting date is flexible and contract duration (with a probation period of 3 months) is 2 years.

Candidates considered for the position will have an obligation to undergo a security background check carried out by the Embassy of Finland in Prague.
