Early voting in regional and local elections in the Czech Republic 2025

The regional and local elections will be held simultaneously on Sunday 13 April 2025, with advance voting abroad taking place between 2 and 5 April 2025.

It is therefore possible to cast an advance vote in two different elections in the same advance poll. However, regional elections are not held in the city of Helsinki or in the province of Åland.

Abroad, there are 112 advance polling stations in 79 different countries in Finland's diplomatic missions and consular posts. Some of the advance polling stations are only open on certain advance polling days. The Ministry for Foreign Affairs is responsible for organising advance voting not only at the missions but also on board Finnish vessels operating outside Finland's borders during the advance voting period.

The Ministry of Justice has overall responsibility for the conduct of elections. The Ministry of Justice has published a list of advance polling stations and their opening hours on the elections.fi website.

Voters residing abroad during the whole period of advance voting and on election day can also cast their advance vote by post from abroad. Instructions for postal voting are available on the Ministry of Justice's election website.
