The Embassy of Finland in Prague is looking for a coordinator to join our team!

Are you interested in diplomacy and international relations? Would you like to see how the day-to-day running of an Embassy looks like? The Embassy of Finland in Prague is looking for an enthusiastic and capable coordinator to join our professional team! The position is full-time and the contract we offer from 1.11.2022 (or by agreement) until 31.10.2024.

 

Languages required: fluent English, Czech. Finnish and Swedish considered an asset.

General requirements: Capacity for independent and detail-oriented work, teamwork skills and a good customer service attitude, previous experience and/or educational background in social sciences, economics, accounting etc. an asset.

The coordinator’s tasks include:

  • Information gathering from open sources and participating to reporting and analyzing on EU, political and economic affairs
  • Trade promotion activities
  • Property management, embassy and residence major works
  • Contributing to Embassy administration tasks, assisting in financial tasks
  • Other tasks assigned by HOM

This position is a locally employed one and the terms of employment follow Czech employment law. The position is full-time with 36, 25 weekly working hours. Starting date is flexible and contract duration (with a probation period of 3 months) is 2 years.

Candidates considered for the position will have an obligation to undergo a security background check carried out by the Embassy of Finland in Prague.
