Cyprus has announced new entry restrictions
The Cypriot authority PIO (Press and Information Office) issued on 15 March a press release listing the categories of travelers who are eligible to enter Cyprus. The current procedure is that travelers in those given categories must have a negative corona test certificate with them upon arrival. Also, all travellers have to spend two weeks in quarantine issued by the cypriot authorities. This rule will come in force on 16.3.2020 at 6 p.m. The press releases can be found in the links below:

Telephone helplines opened by the Cypriot authorities following the coronavirus
The Cypriot authorities have informed on 13 March about opening a second telephone helpline number 1450 for inquiries regarding the coronavirus. NOTE! The helpline 1420 should only be called if the symptoms resemble the ones of coronavirus.

Updated Visa Code to apply from 2 February 2020
The EU is revising its Visa Code in order to facilitate visa procedures for travellers and to respond more effectively to the challenges posed by illegal migration. Finland will start applying the new Visa Code on 2 February 2020 together with other Schengen countries.
