Women rights and gender equality

The Embassy of Finland participated in conference on ''Women rights and gender equality; experiences and lessons from the Northern European model''. The conference took place on 4th March at the European Parliament Office in Cyprus and was organized timely near to International Women's day 2016.

Finnish Ambassador-at-Large for Global Women’s Issues and Gender Equality, Mrs. Anne Lammila, gave a speech about gender equality from Finnish perspective and told what has been done in Finland to achieve equality.
