Travel restrictions will be reimposed to those traveling from Cyprus to Finland

Border control will be returned from Cyprus to traffic to Finland from 12.10.2020. According to the Finnish border authorities, Cyprus is among the European countries from where it is permitted to return to Finland, return or pass through to other EU and Schengen states, as well as commuting and other necessary transport.

Leisure trips from Cyprus to Finland are not allowed. If a person enters Finland for another authorised reason, he or she should remain in a self-contained quarantine for two weeks. Passengers may also be directed to a voluntary corona test upon arrival at an airport or a port, and a doctor may order a quarantine based on a risk assessment.
