County elections and municipal elections to take place in April 2025 in China

Finland’s county elections and municipal elections will be held simultaneously on Sunday 13 April 2025. The advance voting period abroad will be from 2 to 5 April 2025, but for practical reasons many advance polling stations will be open for a shorter period.

Voters will be able to vote in advance in two elections at the same time; however, county elections are not conducted in the City of Helsinki or in Åland.

There will be 112 advance polling stations abroad, located at Finland's diplomatic and consular missions or their offices in 79 different countries. Some of the advance polling stations will only be open on certain days during the advance voting period. The Ministry for Foreign Affairs is responsible for organising advance voting in Finland’s missions abroad and on board Finnish ships sailing outside the Finnish territory during the advance voting period.

In addition to voting at an advance polling station abroad, eligible voters staying abroad for the entire advance voting period and on election day may also vote from abroad by post. In Beijing voting will take place at the Embassy of Finland (West Tower, Genesis Beijing 19. floor, No. 8 Xinyuan South Road, 100027 Beijing) as follows:
