Pamela Tola is adding feature film director to her extensive acting career and directing short films and some TV. In fact Tola’s previous appearances at the EUFF are an early appearance in Beauty and the Bastard and in 2019 in Lapland Odyssey(Link to another website.), both as female lead and both directed by Dome Karukoski.
The ladies in this dramedy are bankable stars of Finnish stage and cinema; Leena Uotila, Seela Sella, and Saara Pakkasvirta. They shine in their roles as a trio of sisters, all with baggage of their own, in this road trip necessitated by an incident with a frying pan…
