YOU NAME IT (Link to another website.) is a Nordic Spotlight event, part of the yearlong initiative of cultural exchange between Canada and the Nordic countries, Nordic Bridges(Link to another website.).   

Sasha Huber(Link to another website.) is of Swiss-Haitian heritage who g artist who lives and works in Helsinki.  She has a Masters of Art, Visual Culture degree from the University of Art and Design Helsinki, now known as the Aalto University School or Arts, Design, and Architecture(Link to another website.) and is currently working towards her doctorate.  She is a recipient of the 2018 Finnish State Art Award, Visual Arts. 

Her works explore the politics of memory and belonging and she has been described as "… a time travelling heroine who draws attention to historic trauma and its ramifications in the present." 

The exhibit runs until May 1.
