Advance Polls in Canada for the Finnish Municipal Elections
In Finnish municipal elections, the right to vote is based on domicile on record in the Finnish population register. All persons over 18, whose municipality of residence is in Finland are eligible to vote.

We recommend voting by mail, because Covid-19 related restrictions by local authorities may result in unexpected closing of polling stations. Please order the voting material as soon as possible so that voting is possible in all circumstances. Voters who are not within reasonable distance from the advance polling stations should also order the voting material in good time.
A voting notice will be mailed to every eligible voter latest March 25, 2021, to the address on file in the population register. If you are not certain your details in the register are current, contact the Digital and Data Services Agency.
