Foreign Minister Stubb to attend the Annual Meeting of Belgian Ambassadors

Foreign Minister Alexander Stubb will visit Brussels on 26 January. The Foreign Minister will give a speech at the Annual Meeting of Belgian Ambassadors. He will also have bilateral talks with the Belgian Minister of Foreign Affairs Steven Vanacker.

The foreign ministers will discuss topical EU matters and foreign policy issues as well as cooperation related to these topics. Among the issues to be discussed are, for instance, the European External Action Service, relations between the EU and Russia, and Finland’s peace mediation initiative in the United Nations.

In addition, Foreign Minister Stubb will deliver an address at an event entitled “A Hundred Speeches about Europe” arranged by Finland’s Permanent Representation to the European Union.
