Mobile passport station arrives in Perth 30.1.2018
Applying for a passport with the mobile passport station is similar to the process of applying for a passport at our Embassy. However, the customer must pay for their passport via bank transfer before their appointment in an issuing location. Under no circumstances are we able to receive cash payments. We check your citizenship status beforehand and print the applications. This requires a lot of prior work from the Embassy – please book your appointments early enough.

The Finland 100 program for the rest of 2017 includes a Finland-inspired Art Exhibition, the opening reception for the exhibition, centenary illuminations around Australia for Independence Day and a private screening of the Finnish movie classic, The Unknown Soldier.

Finland-inspired art exhibition at the Embassy 28.11.2017-31.1.2018
As part of Finland's centenary of independence celebration, the Embassy of Finland welcomes everyone to view a unique art exhibition combining the artwork of three different artists inspired by Finnish nature and architecture. The exhibition can be viewed during the Embassy's opening hours and is free of charge.

The Embassy of Finland and The Girls Leadership Network present a leadership and communication workshop for girls
The Embassy of Finland is hosting a Connect! workshop promoting gender equality and girls' empowerment for girls and women between ages 15-25 on November 15th 2017 from 5:15 to 8:30 pm. The workshop is organized in collaboration with The Girls Leadership Network and is run by a famous Finnish improviser Kaisa Kokko.

Futuro! Installation at the Embassy of Finland in Canberra
As part of the celebration of the centenary of Finnish independence, Sydney based artist Daniel Soma exhibited a site specific installation for The Finnish Crazy Games at the Embassy of Finland to Australia. This installation will remain at the embassy for an indefinite period of time.
