The Finnish Government Scholarship Pool grants now available to apply

The Finnish National Agency for Education EDUFI offers scholarships for Australian nationals in the academic year 2020-2021. The grants are intended for doctoral level post-graduate studies and research in Finnish universities and public research centres.

Please note that the scholarships are meant for postgraduate studies or research and that priority will be given to doctoral studies. Moreover, it should be noted that in Finland Master’s courses are not considered as postgraduate studies.

The Finnish Government Scholarship Pool programme can be applied for a study/research period of 3-9 months and the monthly allowance in 2020-2021 is 1500€. The Finnish academic year starts in late August/early September and ends in late May. The scholarship period should begin within the academic year.
