Five continents meet at Helsinki Cup

Hundreds of thousands of players from all over the world have participated in the Helsinki Cup over the years. Here Ecuadorian club UDJ Quininde (light blue) meets Helsinki's HJK (stripes).

The Helsinki Cup, featured in our video (link below), was first held in 1976 and forms one of the largest junior football tournaments in the world. About 800 teams participated in 2011, from a range of countries including Sweden, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Brazil, United Arab Emirates, Estonia and Russia.
